Perspective is an AI-powered platform designed to help users reduce bias, challenge echo chambers, and evaluate ideas through multiple viewpoints. The service may provide summaries, balanced analyses, structured reasoning, and decision-support tools.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing the website, or using any feature of Perspective, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into these Terms and agree to comply with them.

3. Eligibility

You must comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction. If you are below the age required to consent to online services where you live, you may only use Perspective with appropriate parental or guardian permission where legally required.

4. Accounts and Authentication

Perspective currently uses Clerk for account authentication and session management. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, devices, and login methods. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Perspective. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Violating any law or regulation
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing others
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts
• Uploading malware, malicious code, or harmful automation
• Using the service for fraud, scams, deception, or impersonation
• Submitting unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or abusive content
• Using automated scraping or excessive requests that harm stability
• Reverse engineering the service except where legally protected rights apply

6. AI Outputs and Important Disclaimer

Perspective uses AI systems and may rely on third-party models such as Gemini. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are solely responsible for evaluating any output before relying on it.

Perspective is not a substitute for professional advice. Do not rely on outputs as legal, medical, financial, tax, psychological, safety-critical, or emergency advice.

7. User Content

You retain responsibility for content you submit, including prompts, text, and materials. You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that doing so does not violate rights of others or applicable law.

By submitting content, you grant Perspective any limited rights reasonably necessary to process that content in order to operate the service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Perspective name, branding, interface, software, design elements, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit our materials without permission.

9. Availability of Service

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change, pause, or be discontinued at any time. Maintenance, outages, provider issues, or technical failures may occur.

Perspective may rely on third-party providers including Clerk for authentication and Gemini-related services for AI responses. Use of those integrated services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

11. Fees and Future Paid Plans

Some features may become paid in the future. If paid plans are introduced, pricing, billing terms, refund terms, and renewal details will be clearly disclosed at that time.

12. Suspension and Termination

Where liability cannot be excluded, it shall be limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Perspective and its operators from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
